Peshwari Naan

Peshwari naan is a sweet and rich leavened flatbread that originates from Peshawar, Pakistan, and is popular in Indian restaurants. It’s distinct for its filling of desiccated coconut,sultanas (raisins), and ground almonds or pistachios, often combined with a bit of sugar and butter or honey. The resulting soft, fluffy bread is cooked until golden and slightly crispy, then brushed with butter and served as a special treat alongside spicy curries.
